Bob Kollar, State Chairman & Financial Advisor

Bob Kollar is in his tenth year of involvement with PBL, which includes serving as chapter advisor at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and becoming a member of the Pennsylvania Phi Beta Lambda State Committee in September 2008. Bob is currently an assistant professor of accounting at Duquesne University’s schools of business, and and is also the director of the School’s Annual Accounting Continuing Education Conference. He has been a CPA for over thirty years.

Prior to joining Duquesne University as a full-time faculty member, Bob began his career with and spent 14 years working for the international professional services firm of Ernst & Young where he was a senior manager in the audit practice. After leaving Ernst & Young, Bob worked with the regional accounting firm of Schneider Downs & Co. for approximately five years as a senior manager also in the audit practice. In 2001, Bob and his wife Kellie, also a CPA, started their own CPA firm, Kuhleman Kollar & Associates CPAs, and Bob still assists some companies with their financial reporting needs in addition to his teaching and administrative responsibilities at Duquesne University. Bob was a member of FBLA during high school.

Nicole McCartan, State Advisor

Nicole McCartan has been a PBL Advisor for three years. Ms. McCartan was a business owner and is well experienced in Project Management, Marketing, Direct Sales/Sales, and Education. Ms. McCartan earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Relations and Marketing.


Mrs. Allison Althouse, State Advisor

Allison Althouse has been involved with FBLA-Collegiate since the 2016-17 academic year when she took over as advisor for the Alvernia University chapter.  She joined the PA State Committee in the fall of 2022.  Allison was  a fulltime faculty member teaching accounting at Alvernia until her retirement in May 2021.  She majored in accounting and earned a BS in Commerce from Rider College, a Master’s in Business Administration from Rider College and is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) .  She has judged at both the PA State Leadership Conference level and upon retirement has judged at the National Leadership Conference level.  Since retiring she and her husband enjoy spending time with their grandchildren and splitting their time between PA and Florida.

Felicia Daniel, State Testing Coordinator

Felicia Daniel is originally from Philadelphia but met her wonderful husband of seven years at Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She enjoys reading books, doing puzzles, and mentoring women through her church. Felicia currently works at her Alma mater from which she earned an undergraduate degree in Human Resource Management and a master’s degree in Adult & Community Education. She can be found changing audience’s perspectives through public speaking or at local programs as a sound technician.

Jennifer Johnson, State Advisor


Jennifer is a 2016 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she obtained a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Marketing and a Bachelor's of Arts Degree in Economics. She has been involved with FBLA-Collegiate for 10 years and FBLA High School for 3 years prior. After serving on the State Board as an officer for 3 years, she decided to continue to serve as the State Advisor.

She currently works as an Internet Marketing Manager at WebFX in Harrisburg.
